Ebay item 5/10/18
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jaguar-XJS-1975-5-3-auto-spares-or-repair/112983495941
Sellers description:
Jaguar XJS, 5.3 Auto, 1976. Chassis number suggests it is the 513th built so an early example. I have owned it since 1989 but it hasn't been driven since 1992, the last MOT expired in October 1992 (mileage 24.10.91 was 76,133 ). Reconditioned gearbox fitted Nov. 91. I have the Registration document, it has been parked up for so long it has never been SORNed.
It has always been rusty so was parked in secure dry storage and just left sitting, the storage has now been sold so I have to move it quickly. It is pretty much complete but in a poor state. The parts missing include battery, a wing mirror and headlamp surrounds. It has 2 alloy wheels but two have been removed and replaced with steel wheels, it has also picked up some dents to both front wings whilst stored and a ding behind the drivers door. It was driven into the garage and had no mechanical faults at that time. Restoration would be very difficult but it could be a useful source of spares, or possibly a donor for a kit car ?
The car is located on private property ( near Wembury, South Devon, near PL9 0DY)

Based on the VIN number, this might be a January 1976 car.

The car is located on private property ( near Wembury, South Devon, near PL9 0DY ) so inspection can be arranged only on 14th, 15th & 16th May. The car MUST BE REMOVED BY 19.5.18. It will require a large trailer and some muscle power ( or a winch ! ). Please note, the dollies in the photos are not included in the sale but can be borrowed to get the car to a trailer.
