We are delighted to offer this early example of the XJ-S range of motor cars and one with a warrantied low mileage, a rare beast indeed. This Jaguar was discovered in circa 2000 as having only 10,000 miles recorded and one lady owner with an exclusive address in Kensington, London. This Jaguar appears in very original condition today, the coachwork being very straight, with only a few age related marks. The coachwork is finished in its original colour of Squadron Blue with black painted rear panel and original polished Kent alloy wheels with excellent Pirelli P4000 tyres; it even retains a single door mirror (later models had two). Take a look inside and the originality continues; the light tan reclining seats are in good order whilst the headlining is very clean and does not droop. There is also the benefit of electric windows and inertia seat belts fitted for front and rear seat passengers. The Jaguar has had annual MoT tests with only local mileage being covered between tests, all verified by the records within the history file. That file also contains a magazine with this particular XJ-S featured upon the front cover and in an article within. We are informed that the car is a good driving example, however, please note that we are also advised that the fuel gauge is not working and the bonnet gas stays are weak; small details that a new owner may easily rectify. Inside the engine bay and boot, with battery and battery cut-off switch, appear all nice and genuine. This XJ-S comes with the afore mentioned history file, including an owner's manual, service book, a UK V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate valid until February 2019 and two sets of keys.
These early Jaguars are now being sought by collectors and enthusiasts, thus representing an opportunity to acquire an original, early XJ-S that rarely comes onto the market in this condition and with this mileage.
