XJ-S V12 "pre-HE" in 1977
The purity of the form of the "rubber bumpers XJ-S" is only now being realized after almost 50 years and more and more appreciated. I still remember how I turned in my teaching the key to such a elegant flounder and I asked if the engine is now really running or whether the lights were out for another reason. Without tinkering survivors are extremely rare. Often the rubber bumpers were exchanged for the newer bumpers with chrome cover and wood applications used in the dashboard. This XJ-S has stood for many years in a barn before we redeemed him from his slumber. Right away he started. Now he needs reliable to give pleasure a great service to its new owner.
