Last seen January 01, 2017 in Finland, Southwest, Lempäälä. Previously in 2013 on eBay UK. Asking UKL 10,000. Has 68,000 miles.

Jaguar XJ-SC 3.6 manual Aston Martin Tickford. Excellent original condition - not concourse but close! Paint near perfect, leather has slight patina to drivers seat, leather was redied 10 years ago. Tires have 10k miles on them all good. Aircon works but no very cold. This is one of the first 187 XJ-SCs made by Aston Martin Tickford. It is in excellent condition through out, not concourse but as close as you get with a 100% original car. You could say 'time warp' but this car has been on the road for its whole 30 years, just driven sparingly and treated like a treasured classic from new. Obviously no rust, no mechanical faults. It gets a full service every year regardless of milage (often under 1000 miles). It currently it has rear seats fitted but I have all parts to return it to 2 seater. Hard top, other spares (including full set of new DB7 springs). A huge comprehensive history file - all previous owners known - original owners file with handbook, warranty, RAC and JDC membership papers. I also have original brochure from 1984, salesmans handbook, maindealer workshop manual, parts catalog, motoring mags from 1983 and 1984 featuring the XJ-SC, file of photos documenting Aston Martin Tickford development of the XJ-SC (unpublished). etc etc. This is a once in a lifetime collectors dream - only 69 of these cars are know to exist today and I doubt any others have this much history and are this original. This car drives like new, and smells like new. After 10 years of joy filled ownership its time to let her go. The car is currently in Finland and I am willing to assist with international shipping. It is set up for driving on left but I have two sets of UK headlights if it returns to UK.

I also have original brochure from 1984. salesmans handbook. maindealer workshop manual. parts catalog. motoring mags from 1983/4 featuring XJ-SC. file of photos documenting AMT development of the XJ-SC (unpublished). etc etc. This is a once in a lifetime collectors dream - only 69 of these cars are know to exist today and I doubt any others have this much history and are this original. I have a file of 50 detailed pictures for those to far away to view and can take additional pictures as required. If you know Jags you know this is the XJ-S to get low weight and highly tuned 3. 6 twin cam mean this car out performs the V12 hand down but can still return 35mpg on a run - verses the V12s 15mpg! It is a true sports car with stella performance. this car drives like new. smells like new. After 10 years of joy filled ownership its time to let her go - why? I have done all I want to do with this car. I find it sits in the garage collecting dust and seldom driven - just serviced each year and a few hundred miles put on the clock. Its time for a change in the direction of a WWII Jeep and the Jag is in the space! No doubt I will regret selling because as this is a once in a lifetime car. The car is currently in Finland and I am willing to assist with international shipping. It is set up for driving on left but I have two sets of UK headlights if it returns to UK.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
