Last seen January 01, 2017. Previously on eBay UK March 04, 2016. Has a Price of £ 7,500 with 110,000 miles. Listing says "Jaguar XJ-SC Cabriolet, 1984, 3.6 ltr, Manual. For Sale is my XJS Cabriolet, 3.6 ltr Manual. Condition' is always a subjective area, but I am confident that 'good' will not disappoint. It seems to be quite rare to find one of these nowadays, and I am convinced this is the next Classic to have. In the 3 years or so I've owned this, I haven't seen another like it on the road. Those 'in the know' will be aware of a potential problem area associated with the throttle idle control system. When I bought the car it had this, but I resolved it with the new parts required, and show pictures here of it comfortably ticking over at 750 RPM idle. I had the climate control system attended to and thoroughly serviced, and also had the fuel tank removed and treated with POR15 which effectively prevents the tank from ever rotting out. There is a charging lead fitted to the dash for Samsung mobile phone, and a dash mounted phone holder. Apart from the normal spark plugs, HT leads, distributor cap, oil and water etc., mechanically, it hasn't needed any attention and purrs at it should do. The keen eyed will notice it has non-standard but tasteful steering wheel, ski slope, lattice style wheels, gear knob and Ricarro style leather front seats. I still have the original seats it came with and these are included if the new owner wants them. The cherished number plate comes with the car, and is included in the price. Being a 1984 model, the original number was a 'B' prefix, so it is quite fitting to have this number. For a 32 year old car with 111,000 miles, this averages out to less than 3,500 mile per year. Am I safe to claim low mileage ? Certainly has been a head-turner since I got it but that truly wasn't my reason for buying it. It comes with quite a lot of 'history' records that the Previous Owner passed on to me. Also benefits from remote control locking. The tyres are all in very good condition with plenty of tread and the spare wheel is also a lattice wheel with good tread. The roof is water-tight and the canvas has been regularly treated. Rear window in very good condition with no cracks/crazing etc. Spare parts are still generally available for this, and included in the documents will be a spares catalogue. Nearly forgot to mention the spoiler on the boot lid means it has had something clever done to the rear suspension and the result is that is eats up corners and handles like a dream".
