For Sale March 9, 2013 on the rodsnsods.co.uk website. Listing says "1984 Jaguar XJ-SC cabriolet 3.6 manual, rare motor. I have just recently bought this car, but after seeing something else I now want to try get rid of this, but if not I'm not bothered, I'll just use it this summer. I bought it off a friend who had owned it since 1998 and it has done 5000 miles since then, he has overhauled all the brakes, new clutch, 12 months MOT, 12 months tax. This is totally original and is a 29 year old car. The underneath is rock solid, on the body it is showing signs of its age in places slight bubbling coming through in places but this is nothing major and the car still looks great. If you want a show car then I would repaint it, but if you want a classic that you want to get in and use which looks and goes great then you can just leave it as is. Private plate is worth £1500. I have loads of spares which are worth £1000. I will not take less with out the parts or the Reg as I cant be bothered with the messing about selling them seperate, so if you buy the car you get the parts as well. Some of the parts, steering rack, recored radiator, drivers seat, rear luggage box, spare set of jag wheels, power steering rack that has been overhauled, plus loads more bits and pieces. I have been told that these are getting pretty thin on the ground as they didnt make alot of XJ-SC Cabriolets.
