Car to return to auction 1/15

www.coys.co.uk/auction.php

Auction description:

Lot 135 - 1985 Jaguar XJ -SC 3.6

Estimate: No Reserve

Registration Number: C48 BYX

Chassis Number: SAJJNACC7CC115495

SOLD - £4,130

This lovely example, showing only 29,927 miles from new, is offered in metallic blue with a tan interior and a black hood. These cabriolet luxury sports tourers were the envy of many back in the day and are fast becoming the envy once again. This particular car has the desirable manual 5 speed gearbox, allowing swift gear change for those wanting a more sporty feel to the car.

The car also benefits from having a full set of new tyres fitted in January 2014. A wonderful luxury classic providing typical Jaguar opulence mixed with its ever present sporting heritage. Not to be missed.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
