Included in the history file are receipts for maintenance up to 2003 and was the coachwork was refinished in 1993 in its original colour. Supplied with a V5 document, original service record booklet inside the original wallet along with various other books and paperwork; this car is finished with a beige hide interior and fitted with the manual gearbox that gives the car a much more sporting feel. Described by its long-term enthusiast owner as being in good condition throughout, this particular car has to be one of the lowest mileage examples on the market. With prices of these cars sure to rise, this XJS-C offers luxurious wind in the hair motoring for a very modest outlay.

Car to return to auction 1/15
www.coys.co.uk/auction.php

Auction description:
Lot 135 - 1985 Jaguar XJ -SC 3.6
Estimate: No Reserve
Registration Number: C48 BYX
Chassis Number: SAJJNACC7CC115495

This lovely example, showing only 29,927 miles from new, is offered in metallic blue with a tan interior and a black hood. These cabriolet luxury sports tourers were the envy of many back in the day and are fast becoming the envy once again. This particular car has the desirable manual 5 speed gearbox, allowing swift gear change for those wanting a more sporty feel to the car.

The car also benefits from having a full set of new tyres fitted in January 2014. A wonderful luxury classic providing typical Jaguar opulence mixed with its ever present sporting heritage. Not to be missed.
