On eBay UK October 16, 2014 Current Bid is UKL 1,800 with 99,000 miles. 7 Previous Owners. Listing says "Jaguar XJ-SC 3.6 Cabriolet in need of restoration. Was in full working order before we left it to sit on the drive. Purchased in 1997. 2-door 2+2 Cabriolet. Manual, petrol. Metallic Beige with full leather Beige interior, and Black hood. Approx. 99,000 miles. History, including invoices from a specialist Jaguar garage. Radio and multi-CD changer. There were only three hundred or so of these made. It is one of the originals before they started making them out of poorer quality steel. This version is reasonably economical with the 3.6 engine and huge fun to drive. Hasn't been used for some years. Limited pictures of interior as it needs a new battery to open the doors. Will probably require a winch and trailer to transport. Viewing is recommended.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
