I owned this car from new on Jan 10th 1987 until I sold it in 2001. When it was 6 it had a double headlight conversion and lower skit added, colour coded TWR body kit without the rear spoiler. A straight thru exhaust was added and all stripes removed with a Moca paint Antelope colour matched full respray. Pepperpot wheels were changed for lattice copies on original size tyres. I sold the car to a Mr Trett (from memory) who saw 2 articles I wrote for Jaguar Magazine. He said he wanted to restore it. I understand the car is still taxed, so it is probably still in use as of August 2015. The original registration number was 1243 JG - and is now D801ELL

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
