Sellers description:
This is my 3.6 Jaguar XJS C. As you can see it has a 4.0 XJR engine fitted mated to the original 5 speed gearbox. The engine is fitted but does not yet run, i was going to fit it with a stand alone ECU.
It is for sale as I have bought 4 more XJS, they all need work and this has been on the back burner for a few years now.
The others are face lift cars and more my thing, the cabriolet was being built for my wife but since she bought an XKR convertible shes not so bothered now.
The car does need some welding but the arches and rear hangers are all good. Interior is pretty good but the roof is horrible. It has been painted old english white in the engine bay as that was the colour she wanted.
What do you get for your money..... The cab, all its parts and original engine ( only 65k miles ) The XJR doner car if you want it, it still has its ECU etc if you want to go that way. If I had the time I would probably restore it back to original as prices are only going one way.
Come and have a look if your interested, it will need trailering away obviously. Sorry I cant deliver.
