Allthough listed as a LHD this is one of at least 69 Cabriolet's converted to RHD
Conversions were done at the factory then sold to UK market.

UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY. I have owned this 1985 Jaguar XJSC Cabriolet since June 1985 - She is a beauty. I am now 78 years old and no longer able to attend to some things that are needed. If you have the time and desire, she is a beauty. My friend in Houston, owner of Jag Sport International, has babied the car ever since fixing her for entry to US - DOT and other regs. Then, whenever he would have a parts car, we would update and glorify her. Her original engine was 3.6 experemental, with 5 speed stick shift. We changed to the Jag workhorse again 6 cylinder, automatic and it is perfect, fast enough, reliable and economic.
The paint job is 16 coats of black laquer and clear laquer. Wheels changed from wire wheels from XJR in 2005.
Now, to describe the project to bring her up to excellent condtion - The wiring in the dash burned and needs a wiring harness. I have the harness. It just needs to be installed. The AC fan needs to be replaced. I have the fan for this car. Some upplstery is showing wear. T-Tom needs some new weather stripping. Soft top and back window needs to be replaced. I have a premium sound system with booster and high end speakers. The booster needs to be re-inatalled.
These photos are not current, but the basic car is as shown. Changed from wire wheels to high-tech XJR wheels. Any offers can be subject to inspection and mechanical checking her out. The car is located near Pensacola, Florida.
Price: $4,500 obo

It would appear this LHD car got away without being converted to RHD as it has none of those clues. That said it has a Jaguar issued VIN which implies it was not for the USA market (USA delivered cars have a slightly different VIN). Speculation says the car was bought in the UK as a LHD car obviously imported to the US at some later date. Also the second car seen with no side lights (driving lights as Bleasie mentioned) on the front wing/fender, the other is SAJJNVCB8EC114000. These were both very early LHD cars.
