Auction description:
Sat 31 January & Sun 1 February
1986 JAGUAR XJ-S 5.3 HE CONVERTIBLE AUTO
Chassis number: SAJJNACW3CC128136
Engine size: 5343cc
This black Jaguar XJ-S is a rare example of a 5.3-litre HE V12 cabriolet, with 102k miles showing on its odometer. The car will shortly qualify for Historic status, having been registered on 23rd May 1986. It has been dry-stored for the last 18 years.
The latest MoT expired in 2007, so some recommissioning and repairs will be required, but the vendor tells us that the car will run, drive and stop. Recommissioning was started 4 years ago, including new rear brake discs, pads calipers and battery. Receipts for discs & pads and other items are included in the history file.
The Jaguar also comes with its original service and warranty book stamped up to 95,174 miles, together with a 2014 MoT failure certificate, various invoices, previous V5, several tax discs and a printed workshop manual.
The next owner will need to apply for a new V5C.
