For sale on www.AutoWereld.nl October 30, 2014. Asking Euro 8,950 with 260,000 miles. Original body color was Claret but has been re-sprayed to a Plum Purple color. Listing says "Jaguar XJS - 5.3 V-12 Convertible Targa with Sports Kit. This car was initially delivered with an original Arden Sports Kit thus the modified spoilers, bumpers, wheels and dual exhausts. Car is now 2 years in my possession and was a barn find. Had stood in a barn on trestles under a car cover for 14 years and was put away with a new inspection. Due to illness it has only recently been introduced. Nice car, especially considering it's age and it runs and turns very smoothly. Interior is in good condition, with small tears. Small rust spot on hood and on left rear fender. There was a lot of maintenance done, miscellaneous oil and filter etc, suspension, exhausts. Car is in as good as new, very thick tires. Paint on Arden rear shows tiny bubbles. Two spots in the convertible roof were repaired in a way that would not have been my choice, but car is bone dry. Two small rust spots but not really disturbing, the rest of the car is solid. Side mirrors do not work. Part of trunk liner is missing. Original Colour Claret (CEA 310), First Reg Germany. This car is number 920 produced out of total 5013 XJ-SC. You get German workshop manual, but is missing a few pages".
