Previously for sale on carpoint.com.au December 23, 2016. Asking AUD $ 18,000 with 141,000 kilometers. Location Australia, Queensland, Riverhills. Listing says "Own a piece of English history and be the envy of all your friends as you cruise in style with the top down. Beautiful… Red XJ-SC (Semi-Convertible), 1985, V-12, 5.3 litre Jaguar with only 141,000 km on the clock. This is a great looking former show car that has been in storage for the last three years. A lot of time and effort have been put into maintaining and putting this car back on the road, where it should be. Registered until September 28, 2016. New engine mounts, cross member mounts, sway bar links pins and D rubbers, wishbone bushings, radius arm bushings and ball joints. Full length dual exhaust system with chrome tips and new tires all the way around including the spare. Full service and lube done to the V-12 beast that powers this car. The 5.3 litre H.E. (295 Hp) engine is up to 50% more fuel efficient than pre 1981 specs. Recent work includes: New V-12 upgraded injector harness, all new spark plugs, new water pump and most belts and hoses have been replaced. The engine is purring the way that it should. The body is very solid, no rust and has been freshly detailed including new pinstripes. Undercoated and rock guarded on the lower panels. The interior is in pretty good shape and this car even has the special luggage rack system instead of a back seat, a rare option. The rear screen has just been replaced and the removable T-tops have just been relined. Well over $10,000 has been spent in the last three months with lots of attention to detail. Bonus original manual included.
