This 1992 Jaguar XJS convertible was imported to the US in 1995 and has been registered in Texas from that time through its current owner’s acquisition in February 2023. Powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, it is finished in Diamond Blue over Savile Grey leather. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, fog lights, a power-retractable black soft top, polished 15″ basketweave wheels, power-adjustable sport seats, a factory cassette stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. This XJS convertible shows 31k miles and is now offered by the seller on behalf of its owner with import documents, service records, a Carfax report, and a clean Texas title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in Diamond Blue and features a power-retractable black soft top and a matching top boot as well as fog lights, a Jaguar growler hood emblem, dual exhaust outlets, and a telescoping antenna. The seller notes a poor fit between the left-rear corner of the top and the body.
Polished 15″ basketweave wheels wear P235/60 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires said to have been mounted in 2004. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, and the front calipers were reportedly overhauled in 2015.
The power-adjustable sport seats are upholstered in Savile Grey leather, and additional appointments include air conditioning, cruise control, and a factory cassette stereo. Worn and cracked driver-seat upholstery is visible.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 31k miles.
The 5.3-liter V12 features an aluminum alloy block and cylinder heads as well as Lucas electronic fuel injection. Work reported by the seller included replacing the fuel pump relays in 2012, resolving a coolant leak in 2014, and repairing a leaking valve cover gasket in 2015.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Some rust on underside surfaces.
