1994 Jaguar 4.0 Litre XJS showing 67,000 miles, which is believed to be genuine. Recent works carried out on the car include replacing the gearbox mounting, AC compressor, condenser, pressure switch, gas up system, replace alternator, belt, 2 x door locking regulators, refurbish 4 x alloy wheels, reconolise driver’s seat. All in all the history file has some £10,000 worth of invoices over the years. The last thing done was to replace front and rear bushes. The car has a stamped service history (5 stamps) but this has been water damaged, although just about visible.

The car is described as driving fantastically, never overheats, a/c works well and there is no noise from the suspension. The paintwork is good to very good, and the car does not leak water. It is also completely dry underneath, and there are no oil leaks. The underside of the car is superb with virtually no damage or rust, and is fitted with 4 new Pirelli tyres.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
