1996 Jaguar XJ-S 4.0-Litre Celebration

This final generation model marked 60 years of the Jaguar brand and was extensively equipped.

The Celebration was the final iteration of Jaguar's XJ-S. Its unique specification included chromed rear-view mirrors and headlight surrounds, Aerosport diamond-cut alloy wheels, steering wheel with wood sections top and bottom, a black handbrake lever with full leather cover, a leaping Jaguar embossed into the leather in the upper part of the seat backs and contrasting piping around the seats and boot cover 

Powered by the 238bhp, 4.0-litre ‘AJ16’ straight-six, coupled to a 4-speed ZF automatic

Finished in Spruce Green, a rare shade of British Racing Green Metallic, available in 1995/6 only

First registered February 1996, with five previous keepers, one of the last few examples built

Most recent service at 86,000 miles and currently indicating 90,150 miles

Full history until 2012 and the Jaguar has been dry stored since then

Supplied with its original Handbook, service record, tool kit and MOT until July 2023
