Chassis number SAJJNAES3ER189715 - supplied when new by "Stratstones of Mayfair" on August 10th 1993 to Mr John H Haynes famous for the "Haynes Manuals" with the address of "Haynes Motor Museum" Yeovil, Somerset. The vendor and current registered keeper of some 5 years states that the car has been very well maintained and was fitted with 4 new tyres at around 49000 miles, whilst in his ownership the car has been amintained by both Pentland Jaguar Edinburgh and by Mulsanne Motors Dalkeith. In the vendors own words he states "The car has provided elegant and entirely reliable motoring, visiting the Le Mans 24 Hours on a number of occasions and including a memorableEuropean Grand Tour taking in Paris, Lucerne, Venice, Zagreb, Viennna, Prague and Amsterdam, all without a single hitch". The MOT test is until December 22nd 2020 and the most recent work we are informed has included the full reconditioning and overhaul of the steering rack and a replacement battery. Presented with an interesting history file containing some owner changes the original purchase invoice previous MOT certificates and associated invoice for maintenance. The car has a memory stick in the history file containing the cars story and paperwork as well as photographs. The car drove to the sale a distance of some 40 miles.
