The Jaguar was declared a category C insurance loss on 17/2/2012 though has since been repaired using donor parts from a 1977 vehicle.

We are delighted to be offering this early series I 1979 xj-s pre-he, presented in Richelieu red with Cinnamon leather trim. Very original car with factory fitted central locking, Phillips cassette radio, electric windows, power steering, Recently refurbished to a very high standard Kent alloy wheels.
Low ownership car, first owner for 32 years, 2nd owner 7 months, 3rd loving and caring owner for the last 7 years.
Has been lovingly lightly restored after a light accident to the front left corner, recored as cat d in 2012. This hasn't been a rusty old unused car that has had a full rebuilt, its a honest car that has been lightly restored/repaired to a very high standard. During last ownership there is bill/receipts for over £6,000 just in parts this is without labour!
Starts and drives lovely, there is various paint imperfections on various panels. Have added photos below to show. Sadly paint has cracked in places but this isn't going to bother everyone and defently doesn't stop you smiling when driving....
The previous owner has kept every invoice and has taken over 90 photos of the work he has carried out.

This is the cheapest restored xj-s pre HE I have ever seen forsale and offers great value.
