1983 Jaguar XJ-S HE
Sold for £3,094
Registration No: ARY 722Y

Barn find example that has recently been unearthed from 15 years storage
Three owner example which has been in current ownership since 1990
Low mileage with just 30,344 miles on the odometer
An exciting restoration project!
Manufactured new in 1983, the HE offered was supplied new by Paramount Jaguar of Derby being first registered on the 14th of January that year. Finished in Silver with a Black leather interior upholstery, the XJ-S has been in the hands of just three owners, with the current registered owner purchasing the car in 1990 (equating to two registered keepers due to transferring ownership from his business to private). Recently unearthed from fifteen years of barn storage, the XJ-S has just 30,344 miles on the odometer and since emerging from storage, the vendor assesses that ‘ARY 722Y’ is very solid and original. Thus an excellent basis for recommissioning or restoration, the bodywork is rated as ‘excellent’ and the paintwork as ‘very good’ by the vendor, with the interior trim as ‘very good’. Starting and running with direct fuel, the XJ-S engine is rated as being ‘excellent’ but the injection system will require recommissioning. A barn find example of what for many is the ultimate XJS variant, the first series V12 Coupe, ‘ARY 722Y’ is temptingly offered without reserve.
