Lovely condition

We are very pleased to bring to market this lovely and very original Jaguar XJS V12 Coupe finished in gold with the most fantastic shade of green leather and carpets. The interior is very striking and in lovely condition, and would appear to be factory original. The bodywork is equally as nice, and one would suspect that it has had some remedial paint but carried out to a very high standard as you will see upon inspection. They really don’t come along like this very often, so this is not to be missed.

The Jaguar has had only two owners in its life - the first, who has a very impressive address, had it from new until he sold it in 2001 to its second owner who has owned it to the present day. This is verified by the two V5 registration documents and copy of the HPi. The indicated mileage of 67,000 is very credible and believable, and the Jaguar still wears its original dealer number plates, tax disc holder and rear window sticker. Even the suppling dealer is good, being TWR Jaguar Ltd of Royal Leamington Spa - a very prestigious dealer back in the day.

The Jaguar still has its dealer / Jaguar supplied book pack complete with all its handbooks and manuals, PDi certificate and the dealer map of Europe showing all the dealers. The book pack also has its service book containing 12 stamps. All these books and packs are in excellent condition and have been well kept, showing how well this Jaguar has been cared for throughout its life. The paperwork carries on with a collection of older MOTs, which sit very nicely with the current MOT valid until June 2026.

They really don’t come along like this very often so if you want a genuine Jaguar XJS with a good history that would be appear to be cherished, this may well be the one. This is a great time to buy an XJS, as the market for them has really woken up and about time too. To find one in this condition is a special thing.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
