Auction description:
Sale 18210 - Collectors' Motor Cars and Automobilia, 19 Apr 2010
RAF Museum, Hendon
Lot No: 332
1995 Jaguar XJ-S 4.0-Litre Convertible
Registration no. N4 RFG
Chassis no. SAJJNAFD3EJ223017
Engine no. 9LPFRB138752

Sold for £14,375 inclusive of Buyer's Premium

The current vendor bought this automatic-transmission XJ-S 4.0-Litre Convertible from its first owner, a private collector, when it was six years old. Thus the vehicle has had only two owners from new and the odometer reading of 56,773 miles is warranted as true and correct. There is a gap in the MoT/tax disc history, which is accounted for by the Jaguar being based in southern Spain from February 2005 to February 2008. Finished in Kingfisher Blue with Oatmeal leather interior, the car is described as in generally very good condition and offered with a quantity of old MoTs/tax discs, partial service history dating back to 2005, current MoT and Swansea V5.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
