Car now offered at:

www.classicandsportscar.ltd.uk/jaguar-xjs-4.0-convertible-5-speed-manual-gearbox ...

Seller's description:

1994 Jaguar XJS 4.0 Convertible - 5 Speed Manual Gearbox

This incredibly rare manual transmission Jaguar XJS 4.0 Convertible was delivered new on the 13th April 1994 and registered to a London based software company by Thames Ditton Jaguar main agents Guy Salmon Ltd. Finished in arguably one of the most desirable colour combinations, Diamond with Magnolia hide, this XJS is one of the few manual examples supplied by Jaguar and it arrives with us having covered 79000 miles from new, warranted by MOT certificates and service history.

As expected with a car like this, it comes with its original manuals, spare keys and service book. The service record confirms the XJS was PDI checked on the 12th April 1994 and then looked after by the supplying dealer at 2025 and 7769 miles. H R Owen Jaguar serviced the XJS at 13865 miles before Lancaster Sevenoaks stamped the book at 17244 miles. In 1998 when in the hands of its long term owner in Maidstone, the XJS was serviced by his local main dealership Dutton Forshaw at 22668 miles. Since then, local garages have looked after the car and MOT records warrant the mileage as genuine. There are further stamps in the service book at 48439 miles and a more recent 2022 service at 73660 miles in 2022 however records with the car demonstrate annual maintenance throughout long term ownership.

This XJS is a lovely example, the Diamond paintwork is excellent throughout and the bodywork and trims are in excellent order. The Magnolia hide upholstery is stunning and commensurate with the cars mileage, the power hood functions correctly and presents superbly and on the road the 4.0 XJS does not disappoint. These cars are powerful, comfortable and luxurious and whether looking for a weekend open top sports car or something to seriously long distance tour with, this car will suit perfectly. Supplied with a fresh MOT, fully serviced, function checked and with warranty, if looking for a manual transmission XJS in a fantastic colour combination, this really is the ideal car.
