This XJ-S Convertible is a well-used example in a timeless colour combination, which would now benefit from some sympathetic refurbishment.

It is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.3-litre V12, which sends around 299hp to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission.

A US delivered example, it is said to have remained in regular use until 2021, before being imported to the Netherlands where it is now offered for sale via the trade.

The car is supplied with its US title and EU import documentation.

Enjoyed as intended from new, the odometer shows 205,886 miles.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

This XJ-S Convertible is supplied in the handsome combination of Glacier White with chrome trim and a red soft top convertible roof, over a red leather-trimmed cabin, punctuated by walnut veneer trim panels.

It rides on the correct set of 15-inch alloy wheels, shod with Michelin tyres.

Equipment includes electrically adjustable seats, electric windows, cruise control, a trip computer and a rear luggage shelf with a chrome securing bar.

CONDITION

The US Carfax history shows very minor front-end damage reported in 2011.
