This Jaguar XJS V12 2-seater convertible left the factory in 1992 and therefore benefits from many improvements that the range has had from the previous year. This was characterised by better build quality and increased reliability. Only 3,675 examples were produced in the 5.3 V12 convertible version, which is a very small number compared to the 83,700 XJS V12 examples manufactured. Sold new in South Carolina (as stated in its service logbook), this elegant convertible has a Carfax which states that the car was still there in 2015 and had a total mileage of 50,406 miles. Our collector acquired it in March 2023, when the car had just been appraised by Classic Data in Germany, whose report is included in the file. In original condition and with a mileage of 53,723 miles to date, the car is presented in a sober colour combination that highlights the purity of its lines. With a few cosmetic treatments and accompanied by its logbooks, this highly healthy example is known to be a preferred choice as a collector item.
