EEbay item 5/4/17
www.ebay.com/itm/1988-Jaguar-XJS-XJ-SC-/292105327112
Car has a buy it now price of $11,500 for 6 days, seller trojanboatguy, 57k miles.
Sellers description:
1988 Jaguar XJ-SC V12. One North Carolina owner from new until 2012, when it was purchased by an automotive manufacturer here in Michigan, whom I purchased it from. Silver over Blue leather with elm wood and black targa/convertible top.
Original paint 9/10 with no cracks or fading at all, chrome is 9/10, wheels are in great condition, has both hard and soft tops. Original tool kit, spare, books and some records and both sets of keys. Zero rust, car has been stored in a climate controlled warehouse since it was shipped here from NC.
It needs a detail, interior is dusty and has some mildew, but the leather has no wear or cracks at all. The car had not ran in 4 years, but it does start up, idle, and go through all gears. Brakes are soft. Once detailed and tuned up price will reflect it. These odd balls are becoming very collectible. Maybe 8 XJ-SC's for sale in the U.S. right now from what I could find, own this one for half the others. 57,771 miles, with documentation to support it. It is for sale locally.
