September 04, 2013 on eBay USA . Buy-It-Now Price is $ 5,500. Has had 6 Previous Owners. USA VIN is SAJNA3846JC139675. Listing says "1988 Jaguar XJ-SC. Has 88,966 miles, V-12, runs great, auto transmission shifts smoothly. Silver with Black convertible top at rear and solid black T-tops. The SC version was only made for a few years and is fairly rare. Dayton wire wheels guaranteed for life. All systems work to the best of my memory. It has been parked in my garage for the last 3 years due to a lack of funds to properly maintain it and use A/C in AZ heat. This car was my daily driver for 4 years and is a great pleasure to dirve, both on the highway and going to the grocery store. Very straight and relatively clean. Paint blemish on right front and plenty of small rock dings and chips, but from 20 feet, looks rather great. Exhaust leak in the one and only non-stainless section in the system. It is a straight piece of pipe that is easy to replace. The rest of the all stainless exhaust is in great condition. It needs a tune-up, my Jaguar mechanic tells me to expect a minimum cost $500, and also some cooling system improvements to be able to use the A/C in the Arizona summer heat. I bought the car in Colorado and had an overheating problem curred by having the water pump replaced, with no subsequent overheating. Then moved to Arizona and could not use the A/C (which works fine), because running it in 100ยบ+ temps, caused the car to overheat. T-tops need new headliner. I replaced them using an spray adheasive inadequate to withstand the Arizona heat, they drooped and I tore them out. I do have more material to redo them. The car has now been sitting in my Sun City garage for most of the last 3 years. Registered and insured, waiting for what appears to be $1,000 to $2,000 of repairs. I have kept the battery charged and started it periodically, with an occasional drive around the block. Just installed a brand new battery. I love this car. It needs a new home and proper care. I need to make this a quick and clean sale, so I've set a low opening bid and NO RESERVE. This Jaguar is being offered for sale locally, and to the members of each of the Jaguar Clubs in Arizona, and may therefore be sold and withdrawn at any time.
