JAGUAR XJ-SC, 1987 LHD California
Offered for sale is this unrestored and un molested Jaguar XJ-SC V12 1987. Finished in Black with the lovely color combination of Cream leather upholstery.
The body work is exceptional and original and shows no signs of accident damage. The underbody is completely rust free. The interior is totally original and un molested. However the seats are showing signs of their age, therefore we will be recovering those with top quality leather seat covers.
As you would expect the car drives very well and is accompanied with a huge stack of service bill and the original service book pack.
If you are looking for one of these rare Jaguar cabriolets, I doubt you will find a more genuine unmolested car. Cars of this era are becoming very difficult to find and therefore present a unique opportunity to acquire a piece of Jaguar history.

This 1988 Jaguar XJ-SC was delivered new to Moss Jaguar in Santa Barbara, California, and has resided in Arizona and California, where it was acquired by the seller from the owner of Jaguar specialists Sports Car Classics of Newbury Park in summer 2019. The car is finished in Jet Black over Magnolia leather and powered by a 5.3-liter V12 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Factory equipment includes automatic climate control and heated seats. New tires reportedly were mounted in April 2019. This XJ-SC is now offered with service records, factory literature, a window sticker, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The exterior is finished in Jet Black (PDH) and features factory pinstripes, dual power-adjustable and heated mirrors, heated windshield washers, and halogen fog lamps and headlights. The front roof section is comprised of dual removable targa panels, while the rear offers the choice of a folding fabric panel with a fitted boot cover or a removable hard half-roof with a heated glass window. Factory 15″ five-spoke alloy wheels wear Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires reportedly mounted in April 2019.
The heated seats feature power-adjustable lumbar support and are upholstered in Magnolia leather with matching door panels, a black dash pad, tan carpeting, and burl walnut trim on the dash, console, and doors. Amenities include automatic climate control, power windows and locks, cruise control, a trip computer, and the factory four-speaker audio system with AM, FM, and cassette.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer flanking four vertically-set gauges showing temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and battery. The six-digit odometer shows 55k miles, a handful of which were added by the seller.
The 5.3-liter HE V12 is equipped with electronic fuel injection and sends power to the rear wheels through the GM-sourced Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission.
The window sticker shows standard equipment, factory colors, and a delivered price of $51,260.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage in Arizona and California beginning in October 1994. A potential odometer rollback is noted in 2009, although consistent mileage readings are shown before and after the event. The car is registered as Planned Non-Op.
