83,910 MILES, ON EBAY 06/07, SELLER WRITES:
This is your chance to buy a classic Jaguar XJSC at a great price. Look at the other XJSC's on e-bay and see what they are asking for them. I have heard that only 5000 were ever made and maybe 2000 were sold in the US. This car comes with hard and soft tops, removeable top panels with storage bag, soft top boot cover, a genuine Jaguar car cover, multi-CD changer, V-12 motor, heated seats, power mirrors, power lumbar support, automatic seatbelts (disabled), leather owner's handbook holder, and power windows. I purchased this car two years ago on e-bay from North Carolina, and my sons drove it here to Missouri. It was in reasonable shape for an almost 20 year old car. According to the paperwork with the car, it was originally purchased in New York and moved to North Carolina later. Jaguar maintenance stopped in NC. I assume from the condition of the car and the car cover that the car sat outside and was driven occassionally. It looks like water got into the back of the dashboard through the windshield wiper vent when the drain holed got plugged. The CD changer controller was damaged and fuses blown. Other areas needed cleaning up. The oil pressure gauge doesn't work, but the pressure switch indicates good oil pressure. The odometer doesn't work, speedometer works. The leather seats are good except for a small hole on driver's side, and the stitching is old and tired. I was planning on restoring the Jaguar but my circumstances have changed and I am unable to keep the car. While the car is not perfect it can be restored to near-original condition by someone who loves Jaguars and wants something special. The car passed the state inspection two years ago, but I have had it in the garage for the last year and the license is expired. I recommend that it be shipped to its new home. Please feel free to e-mail me if you have questions.
