96,729 MILES, ON EBAY 04/07, SELLER WRITES:
Up for bids is this Black 1989 Jaguar XJ-S Coupe with 96729 miles. The huge V12 engine has had a recent tune up and runs great. A couple of minor repairs then the engine will be tip top: The new modulator valve needs a hose. It shifts good, but since the hose is bad, a little hard. And the Coolant Temp Sensor needs to be replaced. The factory installed radar system works great and is a very cool feature. The power windows both need motor work and do not function. The sun roof works perfect. The body has minor rust on the side panels (see pictures). The tires need to be replaced yesterday so the winning bidder will need a tow if not local. The interior is in excellent condition.

This is an excellent machine, and with new tires, a little body work, and very little engine work, would be value at over $5000, easy. Please contact me with any questions and thanks for looking!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
