Sellers description:
1988 Jaquar XJS V12 1 owner 119,000 miles RUNS NICE

Jaguar XJS V12 one owner for sale with 119,000 miles. Engine: 5.3L V12 262hp 290ft. lbs.

It runs well, it's all there, this is the sports car that puts Jaguar on the map for luxury sports car, this Jag was loved and cared for, it has all the elements of complete luxury, and it's very beautiful -- sleek lines and great power - needs TLC but IT'S ALL THERE AND IT RUNS AND IT RUNS GOOD.

Great project car for restoration (and, while you drive it too!) or just drive it for fun now the way it is. It's QUITE THE RIDE, to say the least! Fast and furious and NICE. This is a luxury sports car all in tact.

If you are restoring a Jaguar V12 and need parts -- you couldn't go wrong -- or if you are thinking about starting a restoration project this is a great and INEXPENSIVE place to start - It's a "clean canvas" to start restoring and all the parts are there. Or, if you just want a sports car at a great price to drive and own immediately (it runs) and have fun in -- without the huge price tag....look no further. Get in and go.

Rust? The only minor (and easily repairable) area for rust is located on lower rear quarter panel about a 3" x 4" - but not serious esp. considering age of vehicle....slight bubbles only.

Suspension is in good condition
Drives smooth - we are driving it for test rides and just for some fun so, yes, it does drive and it drives well
Maintained by Jaguar of Darian - Title comes from Westport CT
Power Heated Side Mirrors - works

Leather seats are in great condition in front -- rear seat needs some restitching and easy repair but it's all there.
Original Jaguar floor mats in great condition
No Body Damage and the Interior needs some work -- but it's all there and can be restored easily
Wheels are in good condition

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
