This 1986 Jaguar XJ-SC is a targa-style cabriolet that has been with the seller for 31 years and reportedly shows just under 48k kilometers (~30k miles). The car is finished in red over black leather and powered by a 5.3-liter V12 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Recent work included repair of the fuel pump and relays in August 2017. This XJ-SC is offered from Canada with an owner’s manual, an extra set of factory wheels with Dunlop tires, a clean Carproof report, and Ontario registration in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in red and said to have been garage stored when not in use and never winter driven over the past 30 years.
Factory 15″ wheels are shod in 215/70 Pirelli tires, and the seller reports that an extra set of original Jaguar wheels with Dunlop tires will be included in the sale.
The interior features black leather upholstery, matching carpeting, burl wood accents, air conditioning, and a factory CD stereo. The seller reports that the underside of the convertible top needs to be reattached. A full-size spare tire with cover, factory tools, and storage bags for the convertible top can be found in the trunk. Approximately 48k kilometers (~30k miles) are shown on the odometer and this total is accurate per the seller.
The fuel-injected 5.3-liter V12 is mated to a GM Turbo Hydramatic 400 3-speed automatic transmission. The seller reports the recent addition of a new battery as well as a fluid check, oil and filter change, and repairs to the fuel pump and main PNR relays in August 2017. The brakes are reported to need possible attention.
The Carproof report shows no accidents and Ontario registration. An owner’s manual will be provided to the buyer.
