Car returns to ebay 9/5/19
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XJS-1992-manual/254349481172
Current bid: C$14,100, US $10,617.07 reserve not met 32 bids seller djgold33, 88k miles. Car now said to be in Quebec, previously in Vernon, BC.
Seller's description:
Jaguar XJS 1992
4.0L Inline-6 AJ engine with manual 5 speed Getrag. 88900 miles (143000km)
Only around 50 of this configuration were imported into the US on special order only (1993-1995) and I think 250 total in North America.
1992 year is the refreshed model.
Car is wrapped dark green with Avery vinyl, very well done.
Car is black underneath. Car was repainted at some time but not by me.
Car exterior is in great shape with no rust.
The underneath of the car is very clean.
Interior is pristine. The pictures speak for themselves.
I have put a Lister/Hyper body kit on the car. Front and rear spoilers with side skirts. These are very hard to find these days. The car is on Messer replica wheels in 17 inch.
Changed the headlights for older version XJS.
Many repairs have been done. Head and valve cover gaskets, mounts and bushings galore.
All fluids changed, new clutch, brake calipers, rotors, and pads, complete new exhaust.
Tires are new.
Car runs very well but I don't have time to drive it. It mostly sits which is not good for any car.
AC doesn't work, handbrake isn't strong and the front crossmember has a small rust hole. Car comes with replacement crossmember not installed.
