Ebay item 12/6/18
www.ebay.com/itm/1987-Jaguar-XJS-Cabriolet/192748840912
Starting bid: $3,000 reserve not met 0 bids 6 days left in auction seller loo276, 96k miles.

Seller's description:
1987 Jaguar XJSC V-12 coupe. "C" is for Cabriolet - a coupe with 3 configurations - hard top, t-top, and soft-top convertible. I have read that only a few thousand of these were imported to US.

Medium blue (one high quality repaint), body is very clean, with no rust on body or undercarriage. Factory wire wheels. Interior has some normal wear but overall in good shape. Am advised the car spent most of its life in AZ and FL. Since coming to IN, garaged and no winter driving. Car runs well, electronics and accessories function properly except possibly cruise control. Passed a 30-point inspection by Jag-trained mechanic in August. New battery, rebuilt transmission at 94,000 mi. Only known issue: it does drip some oil. Unknowns: (1) not sure if cruise control works, (2) I have never removed the hard-top and installed the soft-top convertible, so I can't be sure the soft-top still functions properly.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
