2018-06-08 Car now offered at:

losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/cto/d/1987-jaguar-xjs/6610118410.html

Sellers description:

This is a V12, 5.3 Liter, 1987 Jaguar XJSC (Cabriolet). This is a very rare car in the US. Very few Cabriolets were imported to the United States. USA VIN # is SAJNV3841GC131917

This car has a salvage title due to an engine fire from the prior owner. I bought this car about 5 years ago from a vineyard in N. California hoping to restore. I have decided that I am not able to do so. Therefore, it is best if I sell it to someone who will. This car does not run and is not ready to drive. You will need to get it towed. I will sell this car to the first buyer with a reasonable cash offer only. $2,300 OBO

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
