This 1987 Jaguar XJSC V12 is finished in Arctic Blue over Isis Blue leather interior and features a multi-piece removable roof. The car is equipped with a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, though it is unclear when it was last running and driving. The late owner reportedly purchased the car in early 1998, and the last available service record is dated October 1998. Features include air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, and an AM/FM cassette stereo. Described as a non-running project, this XJSC is offered by the selling dealer on behalf of the late owner’s estate with an owner’s manual, a service booklet, a clean Carfax Report, and a clean Florida title.
The body is finished in Arctic Blue (JFE) and features belt-line pinstriping and impact bumpers front and rear. The front roof section is comprised of dual removable targa panels covered in black fabric. The rear roof section offers the choice of a folding fabric panel with a fitted boot cover or a removable dark blue panel with a heated glass window.
Factory 15″ five-spoke alloy wheels wear older 215/70 Pirelli P5 tires. According to the seller, paint meter readings indicate that the hood, doors, and trunk lid have likely been repainted.
The interior is trimmed in Isis Blue Leather (JEF) with two-tone blue door panels, darker carpets, and tan headlining on the removable roof sections. The dash and door panels feature burl wood accents, and amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, and a factory AM/FM cassette stereo.
Factory instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and vertical gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and battery voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 119k miles.
The 5.3-liter HE V12 is equipped with electronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. The selling dealer states that the car is not running, and the last maintenance record from 1998 lists coolant leak repairs and an oil change service.
A GM-sourced TH-400 three-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels. Corrosion is noted on the exhaust system, and the underbody is further highlighted in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows registration history in New York and Florida since the first entry in 1991, and indicates no accidents or other damage.
