THE STORY BEHIND THIS VERY RARE
1987 JAGUAR XJSC V12
Some time ago, I had a call from a wonderful Texas gentleman about one of our listings ... and ... he offered me one of my all-time favorite cars as a trade-in ... his ... 1987 Jaguar XJSC. You see ... I have always loved "Old School" Jaguars and a 87 XJS V 12 with only 31 ,000 miles was extremely intreguing. However, I had never heard of a XJSC or Cabriolet. After some research I realized that this car was very rare and was the most expensive Jaguar offered in 1987. Also, my new Texas friend offered that it was virtually a One-Owner car since it was purchased new by a gentleman who had recently passed away ... and my friend had purchased the car from his widow. In Fact ... he had all the books and service records from new as well as the Window sticker addendum showing the optional (5) Dayton Chrome Wire Wheels, Body Side Molding, Leaping Jaguar Hood Emblem and a Total Delivered Price of ... $50,325. Well when it arrived I was thrilled!! It was exactly as he had described it and even better! It is a B E A U T I F UL survivor and the body and interior are U N B E L I E V E A B L E!! And the 12 Cylinder Jaguar Engine Purrs like a Kitten!!! This 87 Jaguar XJSC is G O R G E O U S !!
