Ebay item 3/26/20
www.ebay.com/itm/1989-Jaguar-XJ12-XJS-2dr-Convertible/114154048497
Current bid $1,025 reserve not met 21 bids 3 days left in auction, buy it now price$9,995, seller bogiesmotors, 41k miles.

Seller's description:
This Jaguar is a solid Classic, no rust, runs great and just needs some minor TLC. The V12 motor was serviced and runs smooth and starts right up, no signs of leaks. The Trans shifts great with no issues. I have driven this car at least 70 miles over the last few weeks. The interior is clean, with the gauges and accessories working, including windows, stereo, computer, fan and power top. Seats are worn a bit, carpet not the best with new floor mats ordered and on the way. The exterior is solid with no rust or repair. the paint does have fade and peel in some spots. The paint is original, and has pretty good luster for the most part. Doors open and close well too. --Will need tires, maybe front steering bushings, and wood applique is peeling. This is a NO RESERVE auction....Only one chance to call this ride your own. Same owner last 20 yrs.

Car has a buy it now price of $15,950 for 6 days, seller european-cars, car now said to be in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania, previously St. Louis, MO, 41k miles. Previous auction results removed.

Seller's description:

An exceptionally well kept, great looking classic Jaguar XJS v12 luxury convertible automobile, one of the finest series that Jaguar makes. This is the rare XJS model - not many of these original Jaguars left. This car says a lot about its owner, and has been renowned in the world as a symbol of prestige and class, as well as having great performance. It's been very well kept and serviced; in fact it runs almost like a new car. It’s a great looking exterior in blue color which combined with the blue leather interior adds a lot of luxury appeal to it.

There are no reported manufacturer's defects on this vehicle. A never-smoked-in before beauty that looks great and smells clean.

The engine is an exceptional V12 - runs strong and smooth provides the power you have come to expect from a Jaguar. The transmission has the Jaguar mark on it as well and shifts like on a new car, no skips or slips on shifts. The car runs great! The engine compartment is clean, and free of any leaks. All the electrical options appear to be in working order.

The interior is clean while the seats show almost no wear! Extensive Leather and wood trim adds a true luxury touch. This Jaguar is equipped with a climate control system and the AC blows ice-cold. It’s obviously been garage kept, and is in great condition.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
