This 1989 Jaguar XJS V12 convertible is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and finished in Westminster Blue over Doeskin leather upholstery. Additional equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a black soft top, 15″ wire-spoke wheels, heated and power-adjustable seats, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The seller purchased the car in 2021, and service in April 2023 included performing an oil change, recharging the air conditioning system, and replacing the catalytic converter, battery, oxygen sensor, trunk lid struts, and right window regulator. This XJS V12 convertible shows 48k miles and is now offered at no reserve with the owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Westminster Blue and features bright trim on the wheel arches, rocker panels, and bumpers. Additional exterior details include a black soft top and top boot as well as quad headlights, front fog lights, chrome-finished mirror caps, a power antenna, and dual exhaust outlets.
The 15″ wire-spoke wheels are mounted with 235/60 Yokahama tires, and the faux center nut is missing from the right-front wheel. A non-matching spare wheel is stored under a cover in the trunk compartment. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock discs.
The heated and power-adjustable seats are upholstered in Doeskin leather, and burl wood veneer accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include cruise control and automatic climate control. The trunk lid struts and right window regulator were replaced in April 2023, along with recharging the air conditioning system. The cassette stereo is locked, and the upholstery shows wear.
An aftermarket four-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 48k miles, approximately 150 of which were added under current ownership. The ABS warning light is illuminated.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. Service in April 2023 included performing an oil change and replacing the battery, oxygen sensor, and right catalytic converter.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller reports a leak in the exhaust system was repaired in April 2023, and corrosion is visible on the underbody components.
