This 1989 Jaguar XJS convertible is finished in red over black leather and powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-operated black soft top, front fog lights, wire wheels, power-adjustable and heated seats, cruise control, automatic climate control, a period radar detector, and a factory cassette stereo. The car was first registered in New York and Spent time in Pennsylvania until 2018 when it was accrued by the seller who relocated it to Illinois. This XJS shows 28k miles and is offered at no reserve with a top boot, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in red and features chrome accents and side mirrors as well as front fog lights, dual exhaust outlets, and a power-retractable convertible top that can be seen both raised and lowered. The seller notes a blemish was caused by the included top boot rubbing against the body.

The 15″ wire wheels are wrapped in a mix of Pirelli P4000 tires that show date codes from pre-2000 and Goodyear Integrity rubber showing 2013 dates codes. The car is equipped with four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.

The cabin features seating and door panel inserts upholstered in black leather, and burl wood veneers accent the dash, center console, and doors. Amenities include Jaguar-branded door sill guards, power-adjustable and heated seats, cruise control, an onboard computer, automatic climate control, a period radar detector, and a factory cassette stereo. Wear is visible on the driver’s seat outer bolster and crazing is present on the center console trim.

A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The odometer shows 28k miles, of which approximately 2k have been added by the seller.

The 5.3-liter V12 produced 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil and filter change was completed in October 2020. The seller notes that the air conditioning system was converted to use R134a refrigerant.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a GM TH400 three-speed automatic transmission.

Manufacturer’s Literature and a repair manual are included in the sale.
