This 1989 Jaguar XJS convertible is as a largely stock 2-owner example finished in red over tan and showing 20,500 indicated miles, fewer than 500 of which have been driven by the seller since purchasing the car in a January 2018 BaT auction. Power comes from a 5.3-liter V12 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission, and a new battery was installed shortly after etc seller’s purchase along with a fresh set of tires. This XJS is offered with a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

Bodywork is finished in red with polished trim, a power-operated black fabric top, and rubber-capped chrome bumpers. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage. A ding is noted near the middle of the passenger door.

A new set of 235/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires were mounted over the stock 15″ basketweave wheels in January of this year. The car was reportedly kept in a climate-controlled garage by both owners.

This naturally aspirated 60-degree 12-cylinder engine incorporated single overhead camshafts and electronic fuel injection to yield 262 horsepower when new. The seller states that there are no running issues and that the engine starts and runs well without any smoke or leaks.
