This 1987 Jaguar XJ-S V12 is finished in Nimbus White over Biscuit leather and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 linked with a replacement four-speed automatic transmission, a lock-up torque converter, and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes chrome-finished 15″ cross-spoke wheels, tinted windows, a custom-fabricated exhaust system, power-adjustable seats, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The seller purchased the car in July 1994 and has since added approximately 43k of the 104k miles shown. The engine is said to have been overhauled approximately 10k miles ago. This XJ-S V12 is now offered at no reserve with the owner’s manual, tools, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Nimbus White (NDJ) and is equipped with quad headlights, front fog lights, chrome mirror caps, chrome wheel-arch flares, a power antenna, tinted windows, and dual exhaust outlets. Paint chips are noted by the seller.
Chrome-finished 15″ cross-spoke wheels are mounted with Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs.
The cabin has been reupholstered and features seats upholstered in Biscuit leather along with burl wood veneer accents on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior equipment includes a cassette stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The headliner has been replaced, and the wood trim has been refreshed.
The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 104k miles, approximately 43k of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque, and it is said to have been overhauled within the last 10k miles. Work reportedly included replacing various gaskets and converting the air-conditioning system to use R134a refrigerant. A custom-fabricated exhaust system has been added.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed GM700R automatic transmission with a lock-up torque converter. The car is also equipped with a limited-slip differential.
