Ebay item 8/10/17
www.ebay.com/itm/1988-Jaguar-XJS-/142471093886
Current bid US $1,150, no reserve, 27 bids 6 days left in auction, seller danielbarenboym, 48k miles.
Sellers description:
Rare jaguar for sale. 1988 Hess & Eisenhardt true convertible. One of only 900 ever produced and one of the last ones ever produced. This car spent its life in Beverly Hills and is very solid. There is no rust on this car top or bottom. It runs great but could use a little loving. The car only has Original 58K. Come and drive it home.
The Good.
1. Car runs and drives and just passed the inspection
2. No Rust
3. Very rare with price going up every year on it
4. Was just serviced by a Jag shop in Brookline
The Bad.
1. The paint is fading (I think most can be buffed out)
2. The car has a few spots that need fixing from a small hit (The hood, Right Fender, Left Driver Door) I was quoted $1500 to fix and paint it all
3. seat covers could use redoing (they do sell the whole kit but quite cheep)
These are hard to find and are classics. I don't have any spare room in my garage for this car anymore (other cars are being worked on) and I do not want it outside for the winter.
