46.500 MILES, CONVERSION CAR, ON EBAY 04/07, SELLER WRITES

This is a Jaguar Collectors Dream., This is 1 of only 2,100 made.

An original, 46,000 mile Hess and Eisenhardt , V12 XJS Convertible. The interior shows some wear in the seats and wood trim of the console. The top has two small holes, but the rest of the top looks good. There are no leaks and the top works perfectly. The car recently had an $800.00 tune up, new brakes and a new battery. Some bondo was applied to the surface in order to prevent the spread of some minimal surface rust. This car also has a rare wire wheel option.

Some info about this model:

The Hess & Eisenhardt coachbuilding firm was located in Ohio and built approximately 2100 of these cars under contract from Jaguar before the official Jaguar built XJS convertible appeared in 1988 to be offered as a 1989 model. The Hess & Eisenhardt convertible differed from the later Jaguar convertible XJS as its unpadded top folded down deeper into the body structure of the car resulting in a cleaner rear profile when the roof was lowered. The later Jaguar full convertible had a heavier padded top that did not fold into as small of a bundle when in the lowered position.

I am selling this car for a friend, so if you have any questions I will get the answers and get back to you as quickly as possible.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
