Ebay item 10/24/22

www.ebay.com/itm/134296170673

Opening bid $5,500 no reserve 0 bids seller caddymatty, 54k miles. previous auction high bid $6000, same photos.

Seller's description:

1984 Jaguar XJS was garage kept for most of its life. I have documents dating back to new from the original owner as well as all books and manuals that came with car.

Has the 5.3L V12 motor. Runs great down the road and very fun to drive. Has a stage III engine kit from Radford Engineering in England. Original had the kit installed which their is documents for and added 50 horsepower.

The exterior sports the original white paint. It does have some minor imperfections but overall has held up very nice. Little bit of surface rust on the front bumper but it’s very minimal overall.

Interior is red leather and very nice and well kept. No rips or tears in the leather. On the back of the rear seat you can see some minor separation from the sun.

This was a really fun car to drive but I don’t have time to anymore so time for me to pass it on to the next person to enjoy. Great running car that was well cared for.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
