Ebay item 10/11/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XJS-1984-Super-Clean-Low-Reserve-/131621547841
Current bid US $1,851.56 reserve not met 11 bids 1 day left in auction, buy it now price $5,000, 137k miles.

Sellers description;
This is a very nice 1984 Jaguar XJ-S It is a V-12 Automatic Car in Jet Black with Light Saddle Interior.

Originally owned by a "A Female Naval Officer" who purchased it new and has continuously owned this car until about four years ago. She took exceptional care of this car as evidenced not only by its beautiful paint and interior, It is totally rust free and runs and drives very smooth.

Records indicate that she would take the car in for annual rust inspections as well as its regular maintenance.

Still wearing its Original Lacquer Paint and Pin Striping this car looks stunning. The paint has a deep mirror finish and we keep it highly polished so its hard to see any imperfections but there is some slight oxidation that is visible up close in a couple areas. In addition to this there is a small soft impression on the drivers door. This should be able to be removed by using a paint-less dent removal process. All the chrome and stainless trim is in excellent condition as well as all of the glass.

Everything seems to work on this car with the exception of the AC which needs a compressor. These cars use a standard GM unit that is relatively inexpensive.

The interior is near perfect with the exception of some splitting of the leather mainly on the passenger seat. Door Panels, Dash Pad, All Vinyl Surfaces, Wood, Lenses, Glass, Sun Visors and Carpet are all in excellent condition.

The rear boot (Trunk) and carpeting is in excellent condition with the original spare tire mounted on its perch. It still has its original cover with tags and stamps still on it and looks to have never been removed from the car.

The underside is clean and rust free. The Wheels and Michelin Tires and are also in great shape.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
