Seller's description:
Location: Volo, Illinois, 60073
Stock #: V19392
VIN #: SAJNW4
Transmission: Auto
Condition: Excellent
Exterior: Glacier White
Interior: Barley
1 woman owner since new! 14,525 actual miles. This is an excellent original survivor. Always garage stored, recently serviced. It includes original documentation including window sticker, copy of invoice, original title, manuals, color literature, extra keys, salesman's card and even a factory cassette cleaner kit. It cost $58,059 27 years ago!
EXTERIOR: Original survivor, never repainted. The body is pristine on this car. There's absolutely no damage that I could find. I didn't find a door ding, bubble, signs of rust or damage. The original Glacier white paint still looks new. The only flaw I found were minor nicks on the very edge of the door. It was hand pinstriped and body side moldings were added new. The door jambs are very clean, the weather strips are excellent. The smoked taillights were a factory option. The chrome trim looked pristine to me. The rubber bumper strips are not marked up. The original alloy wheels are mint, they still have the original tires that are not worn. The windshield does have a cloudy spot down low on the passenger side. It has a tan cloth convertible power top in excellent shape. It also has electronic keyless ignition.
INTERIOR: Sophisticated luxury- premium Connolly leather on the seats, doors, console and armrests. Walnut trim decorates the interior. The sport seats are power with power lumbar and they are heated. The driver has memory setting which also automatically adjusts the mirrors. The leather wrapped wheel has tilt. Power accessories include windows, mirrors, locks and antenna. It still looks practically brand with the exception of some mild discoloring on the carpet that might shampoo out.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The all aluminum motor has 4 valves per each of the 6 cylinders, dual overhead cams and fuel injection. It is silky smooth with a spirited response. The engine compartment still looks practically brand new. The components still have clean factory finishes. The hood insulation is disintegrated and the black paint on top of the motor needs touch up.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It still looks new and it's completely carpeted including the bag for the original tools. The spare tire is matching to the others and it's never been out. It also comes with a nice car cover.
UNDERSIDE: The 4-speed automatic is electronically controled and can be set to sport mode. It has a limited slip rear end. It has an ABS braking system with discs at all 4 wheels. The front and rear independent suspension provides a smooth ride and sport car handling. The exhaust is stainless steel. It has a rack & pinion steering system. Under this car is very clean original. The components are clean and proper, there are still assembly line markings. The floors are rust free/damage free with factory sound deadener/undercoat.
This classic Jaguar is a wonderful example of luxury in a sports car. This must be one of the finest examples available anywhere!

Purchased from Volo Cars. New tires, rear brakes, calipers and differential. Small flaws make this about a 90-point car. Engine runs great. Transmission is flawless. Lot #93592:
This 1993 Jaguar XJS convertible is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and finished in Glacier White over Barley leather upholstery. Additional equipment includes a power-retractible beige soft top, a top boot, fog lights, chrome trim, 15″ basketweave wheels, heated and power-adjustable seats, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The car was first registered in Wisconsin and spent time in Virginia before being acquired by the current owner in 2022. This XJS convertible shows 15k miles and is now offered by the seller on behalf of a Maryland retail dealer at no reserve with a window sticker, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Virginia title.
The car is finished in Glacier White and features a power-retractable beige soft top as well as a top boot, a Jaguar Leaper hood emblem, pinstripes, front fog lights, chrome-finished trim, and dual exhaust outlets. An inspection invoice from November 2020 notes that the antenna will not fully retract, and the windshield is discolored on the lower-right side.
Silver-finished 15″ basketweave wheels wear 235/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car is equipped with four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes. Service in November 2021 included replacing the rear brake calipers, pads, and rotors.
The cabin features heated and power-adjustable seats upholstered in Barley leather, joined by wood veneer trim on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, and power windows and door locks.
The leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,700-rpm redline, as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 15k miles.
The 4.0-liter inline-six was factory rated at 219 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.
A binder containing a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, an inspection report, photos of the vehicle, and service records, will accompany the car.
