This 1990 Jaguar XJS convertible shows 51k miles and is said to have remained with its original owner since new. Power is from a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and the car is finished in Signal Red over a black leather interior. Equipment includes a power-retractable soft top, power windows, heated seats, and cruise control. This XJS convertible is now offered on dealer consignment with factory literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title.
The exterior is finished in Signal Red (CFC), and the car is fitted with a black soft top. Exterior equipment includes fog lights, chrome accents, and US-market bumpers with black impact pads.
15” basketweave alloy wheels are finished in silver and wear BFGoodrich Comp T/A tires. No accidents are listed on the included Carfax report.
The interior is trimmed in Warm Charcoal leather with matching door panels, burl wood trim, and heated seats. According to the selling dealer, the wood veneer on the center console was replaced due to cracking. The center stack houses an onboard computer, climate controls, and a cassette stereo.
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges mounted in the center of the cluster. The six-digit odometer shows just under 51k miles.
The trunk is lined in gray carpet and contains the battery and the spare tire.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 263 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque for the US market. Shifting is through a three-speed automatic transmission.
The November 2019 Carfax report shows registration history in New Jersey and no accidents or other issues through its most recent entry in October 2018. According to the selling dealer, the color being noted as blue was a clerical error.
