Sellers description:
1992 Jaguar XJS V12 convertible. Beautiful accident-free car. Has been off the road & garaged for the past 9 years, but is currently running & driving. You can drive it home, but I recommend servicing the fluids first.
Factory stereo with optional 6 CD changer. Factory digital clock works. The power antenna whip was broken off by the previous owner, but you can hear the motor attempting to raise & lower the antenna. Beautiful tan interior & top & desirable Kingfisher Blue exterior. The cluster for the windows & top switch tabs have broken & the cluster is loose. The power windows for the doors work as they should. Has minor paint fade on sections of the hood & trunk. The paint fade is in the center portion of the hood (where the engine is the hottest) and the rear upper portion of the trunk. LOW MILES, only 58,680. There are no cracks in the dash & the wood trim pieces are near perfect, with only minor imperfections.
Raise & lower the top manually, its pretty easy to do. The power top does not appear to work properly, nor does the drivers side rear window retract, but the other windows work fine. The small tabs where the convertible cover brackets slide in show wear, but are functional. Newer battery & very nice matching Firestone tires with minimal wear. No curb rash on factory rims. The knobs that control the fan & heater system are missing for some reason. I'm going to try to find replacements. I'm going to manually manipulate the heater/AC system to verify proper operation. I'll update this posting with my findings.
This is a great 25 year old survivor.
