Private Party Or Dealer: Dealer
This 1990 Jaguar XJS convertible was modified under prior ownership by Lister North America with a Getrag five-speed manual transmission, revised gearing, and a body kit that includes ground effect moldings and a rear spoiler. The car is powered by a replacement 6.0-liter V12, and later modifications performed by Hyper Engineering included the installation of an updated braking system, stiffer torsion bars, a replacement exhaust system, and a cold air intake system. The car is finished in Signal Red over tan leather and features multi-piece 17″ OZ Racing wheels, a power-operated soft top, air conditioning, an onboard computer, and power windows. This modified XJS shows 31k miles and is now offered by the selling dealer in Wisconsin with correspondence from the previous owner and Paul Hands of Hyper Engineering, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The car is finished in Signal Red (CFC) and is equipped with a Lister body kit that consists of a NACA-ducted hood, revised valances, flared rear fenders, wheel arch flares, side skirts, and a fixed rear wing. Additional features include a black soft top, fog lights, chrome-finished accents, and dual exhaust outlets. The inboard headlamps have been replaced with a Hyper Engineering cold-air intake system, and a Lister badge is present at the rear. Lister stampings on various body panels can be viewed in the gallery.
Multi-piece 17″ OZ Racing alloy wheels were added by the previous owner and wear 275/40 Dunlop SP Sport 4000 A/S tires. Upgraded torsion bars were added under prior ownership, and a Hyper Engineering disc brake kit was installed in 2001.
The cabin features seats upholstered in Barley leather along with matching door panels and wood trim on the doors and dashboard. Equipment includes an onboard computer, air conditioning, power windows, and a Sony cassette stereo linked to a trunk-mounted Sony CD changer. The rear quarter window regulators were repaired by the selling dealer.
The MOMO steering wheel is wrapped in black leather and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and the battery. The six-digit odometer shows 31k miles.
The factory 5.3-liter V12 was damaged under prior ownership and was removed and replaced with a 6.0-liter V12 said to have been sourced from an XJR-S and procured via Hyper Engineering. The engine features JaguarSport cam cover plaques, a Hyper Engineering cold air intake system, and a Zytek engine management system. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
The factory three-speed automatic transmission has been replaced with a Getrag five-speed manual transmission. The car is also equipped with revised rear end gearing and Hyper Engineering stainless-steel exhaust manifolds.
